Super Simple Sausage and Pepper Subs
INGREDIENTS:
Schott Ranch Pork and Beef Sausage
Sweet Honey Mustard
Pixie Chick’s Bliss Mix Spice Blend
3 bell peppers, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 cup grated cheese (we used mozzarella) Sub or Hoagie Buns
DIRECTIONS:
Roast sausage at 375 until cooked through.
Saute onions and peppers until soft in olive oil and bliss mix.
To assemble, toast open face buns in oven. Place sautéed pepper and onion mixture on bottom bun, top with sliced sausage, grated cheese and a smear of honey mustard on the top bun. Sandwich together and serve or wrap in foil to reheat and eat!
